I enjoyed looking at these and thought others would as well.

Re: Old Knife Ads
Thanks for sharing. I miss seeing those kind of knife ads. They use to run them in all the gun magazines back in the day.

Here's one from the fall 1996 issue of Tactical Knives for a Kershaw one hand opener showing a man who desperately needs a one hand opener! Note the squirrel and crow looking on, and the crow seems be be mocking the hunter. lol

Re: Old Knife Ads
This one is from the summer 1996 issue of Tactical Knife magazine. I have a similar R-3 Remington, handle slightly different. I definitely think "chipmunk" would not have been appropriate for naming this one. lol

Re: Old Knife Ads
I found this Marbles ad while looking thru the January 1937 issue of Sports Afield magazine and thought everyone would get a good laugh at the prices.

Re: Old Knife Ads
I like the profile on the 545 Expert. Its price worked out to $52.62 in today's terms. Thanks for showing that ad!

Re: Old Knife Ads
Here’s some for sale on eBay now. Remington advertised a lot.

Re: Old Knife Ads
I like the wholistic approach in the advertising of its knives that Remington took.
The finely crafted knife is just the beginning. Then comes the manifold and worthy uses, performed by productive and upstanding people, including American youths, whose edification will inevitably be served by the process.
