Unknown MOP CASE BROS CUT. CO. pattern???

Hello all,

Here is what I have.

Exactly 3" closed. Sone very light file work to the brass liners, not recent. All pins are shiny but due to pic shadows, do no show as such.

Date stamp on front of mainblade and back of secondary is "CASE BROS" (semi circular, not a straight line) over "CUT." over "CO." Mainblade has "TESTED XX" stamped, not etched. Looked thru the books. Looks like Sarge shows 1912' for that tang stamp.
Also, that date and model stamp is on a knife on page is Sarge's 7th, page 47. The 8216LP. I think this knife is the "Unknown, Cut. Co.", he has listed on page 59, 7th edition. 3 inches in length. Best I can tell. "XX" blade stamp amd mine has "TESTED XX" blade stamp but knife looks the same to me. Any input is appreciated. If it is the knife pictured, please let me know your thoughts.

Authentic best I can tell. no signs of tampering or tang shaving. BTW, the front side of knife appears to have a chip but it does not. Looks like a fingernail mark on the left side. May have been repaired but if so, the craftsman is a a genius/artist. I think it is original to the knife. Oberved under 10X loupe and "feel"with my finger. Can't see anything on inside of knife to indicate it was taken apart. Cleaned?? No doubt. Not by me.

zp4ja, in Sargent's 4th Edition, Page 129, he shows a 82027 in pearl with the same blade etch. But that pattern has regular bolsters and is 2 7/8" in length. There is a picture of a frame like yours on Page 153 but this knife only has the "XX" stamped on the blade. Maybe they used that blade stamping for a certain time period? Also, I have seen natural seams in pearl that are not cracks. Hope this helps.

Thanks much for taking the time to look thru the books on this knife. Don't have Sarge's 4th, only 5th thru 7th.

I still think she is the unknown shadow MOP on page 59, Sarge's 7th.
