After you point it out, I can see Wazirabad, but I probably would have missed it too.

Re: Anyone collect knives from Sweden/Norway/Denmark & Finland?
I picked this one up in a box of misc recently. It is marked Falcon, stainless steel, Sweden. Did not come with a sheath, probably had one of those hard plastic ones originally. Takes a good edge and would work great for filleting.

Re: Folding Saw
In sorting thru some camping gear, I came across this folding saw that I have had for years. It is a Seymour Smith #910 Snap cut, with a Teflon coated blade. I have had this in my camping gear for 30 years or more and it works great for general campsite wood cutting, as well as pruning the branches ...

Re: Is this Western legit?
I've been looking through all my non-TKMWWW documentation as well as through TKMWWW since Olde Cutler asked me about it in a PM and have been unable to find an EXACT match to his knife. It appears to be a 2346 from the 1950 catalog with the the small blades replaced. The 461 brought up by Thomasg f...

Re: Guns & Gun Related Stuff
What was the wrong caliber? That was my tongue in cheek wise crack about it being a 9mm. Colonel Jeff Cooper said the CZ75 would be the greatest modern fighting pistol if only it were in 45acp. For the record, my preferences aside, there’s room for all the calibers at my house. I don’t discriminate...

Re: 2024 Duck Decoy Give Away
The decoy itself measures 14" long and 10 and 1/2" high. This is considered 2/5 scale or about 40% of life size. mighty fine of you OC to keep this annual tradition alive! So if she is 40% of an adult whistling swan, these creatures are not small at 35” long and 26” tall. I had to Google ...

2024 Duck Decoy Give Away
It is time again for the now 6th annual Decoy Give Away. The decoy this year will be awarded on April 29, which is also National Zipper Day (???????). This year the prize will be one of my hand carved whistling swan decoys, which has been given a special "crackled" finish. All the winner n...

Re: Miller Bros. 1863-1926
I got this Miller Brothers 3 inch bare head jack from Thomasg in the latest POS exchange. With steel bolsters, liners, and pins it was real rusty inside and the handle material needed replacing. The pile side had a wood scale that looked like beechwood, and the mark side inexplicably had been replac...

It could be legit but it does not show up in any of my catalogue pages from the knife maker who went west .perhaps it could have been offered in a catalogue I have not viewed .lThe frame looks to be the same the as the Mechanics carpenter knife. No.461. The covers are similar to the western pearl t...

Re: Matto Knife
I shot muzzle loaders a lot back in the 1970s. Loved those blanket shoots. Blanket is thrown out on the ground and all shooters throw out a prize on the blanket. After the shooting match is over, high score takes their first choice, second highest next and so on. Usually it is what you see is what ...

Re: Celluloid gone bad.
I picked this one up for a buck because the celluloid is outgassing on the pile side. In fact nothing left of it. The pile side liner likely will have to be replaced too. There is the line of rust on the back of the clip blade. The mark side seems to be fine for now. The knife is a 4 line Camillus S...
