Queen Cutlery #62 GLAZED Mellon Tester Winterbottom bone: 4 1/8” closed, circa 1959, Q STEEL tang stamp, etched blade, genuine Winterbottom bone handles with no chips or cracks, stainless steel blade and spring, NS bolsters, good snap, never sharpened or carried. For a short time, in an effort to save some production cost, Queen made some of their patterns with a glazed finish on the blades rather that the high polish that customers were used to seeing. The customers did not like the glazed finish so Queen dropped this idea. This is one of those rare knives with a glazed finished blade. Mint with no box.
