Custom Damascus and ivory whittler made by Philip "Doc" Hagen of Pelican Rapids, MN. It is larger than most whittlers, 4 1/2 inches closed. Never used or carried.
This is a sole authorship knife, Doc made his own Damascus and did the heat treating himself. He has been a member of the Knifemakers Guild since 1976 and is now retired.
This knife was commsioned by my late husband at least 20 years ago.
