Springer Automatic Knife from Germany via B. Svoboda
Here is a Springer lever activated automatic knife imported by B. Svoboda from Germany. This is NOT a part of the recently found stash of new old stock found in Mexico. This belonged to my grandfather who passed away in 1996. I don't know how he came by this knife other than he was an outdoorsman, and liked to visit local flea markets. In his later years he decided to collect pocket knives, and this from that collection. That's my only knowledge of it, as I am not a professional kinfe dealer by any means.
The knife works well, it has a wicked spring to it, and it locks in place both opened and closed. It has been used, so it has it's share of scuffs and scrapes. Someone in it's history, not me, looks to have really hit some of the metal parts with abrasive material, and you can see the abrasive scratches on it.
The tarnishing is at a minimum though, and the handle material seems to be in pretty good shape as well. Please make sure you check out the pictures and the YouTube video accompanying the listing.
