Belknap Hardware USA Stockman
Here's a lightly used stockman stamped Belknap over Louisville Ky. It has the Bluegrass Hardware shield. Belknap was a major hardware distribuitor based in Louisville, Ky. that was in business from 1840-1986. Bluegrass was one of the the brands used by Belknap. I believe this knife to have been made by Boker USA under contract. It has a nicely swedged main clip blade that features a long matchstrike pull. All three blades open and close with good snap and no wobble. There is patina on all the blades but they are full showing little if any loss from resharpening. The handles are a light yellow composite material. (Most likely delrin). Knife measures four inches closed. This is a good old USA made carbon steel knife with some history. It would make a great EDC or a nice addition to your vintage knife collection.
