Steph's Knives

Offered for sale is an exceptionally rare Bulldog Brand Five Blade Anglo Saxon Whittler featuring Genuine White Chip Abalone handles.

This knife was purchased new directly from the late Jim Parker and has remained in our family's collection ever since. It is also pictured in Jim Parker's Volume 7 catalog on page 105.

The original Bulldog Certificate of Authenticity, which accompanies this knife, states:

• A total of 160 Five Blade Anglo Saxon Whittlers were produced in various handle materials.

• Only 3 were produced with Genuine White Chip Abalone handles, making this the lowest production handle variation in the series.

• Each knife was handcrafted in Solingen, Germany by master cutlers.

• The blades were oil quenched and hand hammer forged one at a time.

• Each knife is etched with the signature of Master Cutler August Scheidtmann, whose signature appears on the master blade.

This knife measures just over 5 inches closed and is in mint condition. It has never been carried, used, or sharpened and retains its original factory edge, original blade etch, and strong snap on all five blades. The Genuine White Chip Abalone handles are free of chips, cracks, and repairs.

Included are the original Bulldog box, plastic sleeve, and the original Certificate of Authenticity.
