Up for your consideration is a remarkable, collector-grade vintage Schrade+ USA LB8 Uncle Henry "Bear Paw" lockback pocket knife. Handcrafted in Ellenville, New York, this is the staglon-handled variant of the legendary LB7 platform and is a staple of vintage American cutlery history.
This is a complete, original factory package. It looks like it was placed in a drawer decades ago and forgotten.

Condition Report:
Blade: Near mint to mint condition. Full factory profile with a razor-sharp original factory edge and a beautiful satin finish. Stamped "Schrade+ USA LB8" on the tang.
Handles: The classic Staglon covers are flawless with beautiful deep color character, no cracks, and zero shrinkage. The Uncle Henry script shield is tight and flush.
Bolsters: Beautiful solid brass. Please note there are three small dark spots on the front-top bolster near the pivot pin (clearly highlighted in the close-up photos). They look like minor storage patina/tarnish spots and have not been buffed or cleaned to preserve the knife's original state. The remaining bolsters are brilliant.
Mechanism: Crisp, authoritative walk and talk with a rock-solid lockup and a powerful factory snap. Zero blade play.
Packaging/Paperwork: The boxes and paperwork are in crisp, excellent condition with minimal shelf wear. The leather sheath looks virtually untouched with tight stitching and no belt wear.
