ADDITIONAL INFO:     Kershaw #2605 was made in Japan by Kai Cutlery circa1991. It was only made for one year. Kai Cutlery Co Ltd. of Japan purchased Kershaw Knives in 1978, just four years after Kershaw started.

If you’re a fan of old Kershaw’s this is a must-have, it’s very reminiscent of the style of the Officers Ranch series. It is like the Folding Hunter of the Officer Ranch series.

These are good, solid and well-made knives. I have used them, and I have customized several of them. They are solid and they hold an edge well. I bought several of these about 10 years ago to customize but didn’t finish them all. I sold one like this one two or three years ago. I believe this is the last one I have.
