PATTERN:  I believe this was called a pinch lock. It originally had chestnut barn wood on the handles.

CONDITION:  Restored knife that had been used the

ADDITIONAL INFO:     This knife was originally made with salvaged chestnut barn wood. Someone had not taken good care of this knife and the wood of the handles was damaged in several places and the shield for the handle was missing. Since Canal Street went out of business a few years ago I could not contact them for a new shield. Took the knife apart and cleaned the inside and polished the inside of the back spring. I replaced the wood handles with Shetland jigged amber bone and reassembled it. This would make a great knife to EDC or an awesome knife for a collection.
