SHEATH:   The sheath that the knife came with was the wrong size and the wrong brand. The sheath is a case sheath which is the correct size sheath for a 4 inch blade. While the sheath is not from the correct company, at least it’s from Case which is a sister company ran by family members.

CONDITION:   Excellent

DAMAGE:   Normal use and wear, some scratches on the blade, a few dings and scratches in the handle.

BLADE WEAR:   I would estimate the blade is within 5% of being full.

AGE:     According to Goins’ Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings this tang stamp was used around 1957 before the factory was sold to Robeson Cutlery Company in that same year.

MADE IN:   U.S.A.

ADDITIONAL INFO:     I don’t have a lot of additional information on this knife, but once you hold this knife in your hand you will know it is a quality piece of cutlery!

This knife will ship via Priority Mail in a padded vinyl envelope or box, whichever is less expensive. When shipping in padded envelopes I always wrap additional padding around the knife, it will be well padded. I haven’t had one being damaged in shipping yet.
