Imperial Boy Scout Knife

BRAND:   Imperial

PATTERN:   scout knife

LENGTH (Closed):   3-5/”

BOLSTERS:   Nickel silver

SHIELD:  Instead of metal escutcheon this knife has the scout emblem carved in the Delrin handle.

HANDLES:   Jigged Delrin

BLADES:   Spear blade master, can opener, punch and screwdriver/caplifter blades

LINERS:   Brass

TANG STAMPS:   IMPERIAL/PROV. R.I. with U.S.A. stamped vertically next to the Imperial stamp.

CONDITION:   Very good

DAMAGE:   Some dings & scratches in bolsters, handles and blades. Discoloration of carbon steel blades from use, which is to be expected.

BLADE WEAR:   I estimate play word to be less than 10%. Blade is quite full and incredibly sharp.

SNAP: Decent. I can’t recall ever seeing in the Imperial that had really hard snap to their blades, many tend to be on the weaker side. The punch has hard snap the other blades are less snappy, probably due to have your use.

MADE IN:   U.S.A.

ADDITIONAL INFO:   I am not sure when these knives were made, I would guesstimate in the 1960s or early 1970s. This spear blade is incredibly sharp. The spear blade alone makes the whole knife with carrying just because of the great carbon steel in it.
