ADDITIONAL INFO:     I don’t know great deal about Kabar knives but it would appear to me this one was made prior to Union Cut Co. being dropped from the tang stamp. From the research I have done and what little I’ve been able to find, it appears the Union Cut Co. name was dropped from the tang stamps between 1923 and 1952. I am by no means an expert on Union Cut Co. or Kabar knives, but I think nice knife was probably made before World War II, primarily because it has stag handles which became much less common after World War II are most companies. Even though it is worn in the blade is down, it would make a nice EDC. The master blade still has good snap but the pen blade has no snap at all. I am pricing this to sell for those who are interested in the tang stamp, the stag handles or for someone who likes to carry a nice old knife.
