 ADDITIONAL INFO:      As the story goes there were a large number of these blades left after the closure of the Schrade factory. Supposedly Taylor Brands LLC shipped the American made blades to China along with the machinery for installing the handles and had these handles installed in China using the old Schrade TRP handle machinery. The blades were made in the Schrade factory in Ellenville New York; they were not made in China. Here’s a chance to get one for your collection or to add a very good quality fish fillet knife to your fishing gear. And for this price you cannot find a good quality fillet knife, especially not one made with USA steel.
