ADDITIONAL INFO:     This is the Camillus Marlin Spike Knife that was made for the U.S. Navy as well as sold to the civilian market. I don’t see any Navy markings on this knife, so I suspect it was made for the civilian market. These knives have strong springs on both the sheepfoot blade and the marlin spike. The marlin spike blade locks open and is released by pushing back on the shackle. The marlin spike is very useful for splicing rope as well as splicing cable. A useful tool for your toolbox in your truck, car, shop and especially in your boat!
