 ADDITIONAL INFO:      This was originally a two bladed jackknife was celluloid handles. The celluloid was beginning to off gas and so I removed it from the knife. It left a little minor pitting in the blade, along with the marks of its lifetime of use. The knife has actually survived relatively well aside from the celluloid issue and the blade is very close to a full blade. I replaced the offgassing celluloid with nutmeg colored bone with the Catalina jigging pattern, and I reinstalled the shield. I like this knife so much I carried it for a while, but when I’m working in the shop I prefer a knife that I can open one-handed for the sake of speed and arthritis in my hands. I found I wasn’t carrying this knife very often, which is a shame. It is a solid knife that was built to work, and I think it needs to do just that. Add this one to your pocket, it has great steel and holds an edge very well.
