Finding my place between a rock and a hard place...

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Ok, Phil. Time for an update.....from you.
I went to PCB this past thurs-mon.
I had entertained the thought of visiting Phil while on
this trip, as he lives @ an hour from there. However, on the
monday prior to the trip, i had a vasectomy. Not my
wisest choice to go with the fam. Lots of time in bed with icepack.
Just seems to be taking longer for the soreness and swelling to go away.
Hope your therapy is going well, bro!

Hey Jody, I did the same thing. Procedure on a Friday and on to Panama City Beach on Sat. Never had any pain or swelling with mine though. Take care and heal up ::tu::

Been layin' low, not much time on the computer. Torture, I mean therapy is going well according to the therapist. One of the therapist played baseball with my son as a youngster, makes me feel old! I never knew such small exercises could produce so much pain. They say I'm about to graduate to the wellness center next week so I must be improving. Home health nurse removed the 32 staples this morning and she said everything looked good. Back to the surgeon in Panama on the 24th and then hoping for an okay to travel to Lawerenceville, Ga. to see my youngest grandson be baptized!

Jody, that sounds like a bad way to spend a vacation, hope you get over the surgery soon.

Again, thanks to all you that have remembered us in your prayers! Miss Joy reminds me of a Drill Instructor, she calls out the exercise and then says, "Many of them, begin!". Seriously without her help it would be difficult to be faithful to the prescribed exercises. The Lord has blessed me when she became my wife almost 48 years ago!
