Boker Barlow

Post by trail »

I picked this barlow up at the antique mall yesterday and have been marveling at the fit and finish of this old knife ever since. Despite showing wear, sharpening, and a beautiful patina, the knife is tight and solid as brand new. I'm guessing it is Solingen made, but it is only a guess - there are no markings on the tangs other than the pattern number, 495, on the front of the main blade. The pen blade has a funny shape at the tang, almost like a Case shoulderless. A great little knife. Could be enough to make a Boker collector out of me.

That would look good at my house, next to my 493 and 494. Now if someone has a spear point (492) to add, we will have a complete boker barlow collection...
Good find Trail! ::tu::

Sure do like the looks of those older ones, gentlemen.
Only Bokerlow in stock here is a recent grand canyon edition.
