Aaaand there off! Kentucky takes an early lead, followed by Pennsylvania, then Texas...no wait Texas is moving up and is now nose to nose with Penn., followed by Illinois and Missouri in third place. Bringing up the rear by a length are Tenn., Florida and S.C. The rest of the pack is falling way behind. It's still anybody's race folks, but it looks like Kentucky is pulling away fast. :D

Coming into the first turn, it's still Kentucky ahead by 2 lengths, followed by Texas and Pennsylvania still running neck and neck in second place. But wait, what's this!? In a surprising move, Indiana has broken to the outside to capture third place by a length and Fl has moved up through the pack in a three way race for forth spot along side MO and IL. The crowd is on their feet and it looks like this race is far from over! ::ds::
