Should I or shouldn't I?

I've just received this unfinished Craftsman USA 95236 peanut which came from the Camillus closeout. I could finish it myself (although I'm inexperienced) or I could keep it as reminder of the last days of this great old company.
I favour keeping it as is unless you can persuade me to finish it off.

There are lots of finished Craftsman knives out there but not many unfinished.
I'd leave it.

IMO, the current condition makes the knife much more unique and interesting. It gives the knife a definate 'history'. Fast forward a couple of decades and tell me which you'd rather have. Another point to consider is if you lack experience, you could easily mess the knife up and regret the attempt.

Leave it be.
You'll be glad you did.

I'll keep it as is. It will remind me that Camillus didn't just fade away, it stopped all too quickly.
