Is it just me, or does anyone else think this blade looks just wrong on this knife ?

Looks like a toothpick blade, but I don't know what should go with that knife.

I don’t know enough to say. But I can say that for a 1920 blade it is in amazing condition, stainless or not. Must have been kept in a sealed vacuumed mayonnaise jar! I would still like to have it. That’s how they get ya.

You are reading the knife correctly, Fran. Wrong blade. Another of Brett's wonderful creations, designed to wow the unwary!
Puhleeeeeze!
(I award this knife three rasberries!!)

Hello Guys!
I am brand new to AAPK but am a HARDCORE 35 plus year collector of anything with a blade. My passion has always been old knives made or sold by old St. Louis companies but just like the majority of you, I like 'em all! Have been looking at this site for many months as a passive observer but now feel a need to pitch in and contribute. Like many of you, I buy and sometimes sell on eBay, have seen this seller's wares many times and all I have seen him offer for the most part to date is alot of ground up, buffed up and dressed up CRAP. The knife here in question is no exception, I have seem this pattern in this brand before and his offering has had the blade dressed down to give the illusion that it is fuller than it really is and as you all probably have noticed has holy snot buffed out of it. JUNK!

Welcome St Louis! I am pretty new on here too.
Seems most of the Knifes I have are made by NY and Penn companies, I would really like to hear more about the St Loius Companies. I have seen some recent posts debating St Loius made knifes..I am sure you could help on those!
Maybe you could make a post showing some of the best things about St Loius makers....pictures would be an added plus!
