Can you help ID this knife?

Anyone know who made this and when. Tang marked "Made in Germany" Anchor with rope symbol like Navy of USMC. Button release and tab to unlock from open position. Handles apear to be horn.

Must have been made on the Polish border. Looks like a Polish Folder to me! (I am Polish by the way.)
Is that really the blade that should go with that knife?

i'm looking, nothing yet. the knife is carried closed, point down in a sheath, :lol:i believe those are called folding bowies.

Thanks everyone, as far as I know the knife is in its original condition.

Hello nifenut;
The term folding bowie is more correct than incorrect IMO also. The blade on this recalled the profile of the German Butcher Bayonet. So don't dismiss some oddball military use. Here are photos of a 1936 Carcano folding bayo. I do not currently have a Butcher but they are easy to look up.

That knife looks vaguely familiar…
