I've been carrying MM's roundtable sod buster around with me all week for the stampede - it's been getting lots of us. I can't believe I never owned a sod buster before.

The ebony and silver is certainly elegant looking. Do I detect stainless liners. 410 ss can be hardened a little to take some nice jeweling or aka engine tuning. I believe it can be done without hardening on 410 SS, inside the liners. Supposedly, a little hardening can make the tuning stand out a bit more. Nice work! Keep up the good work.

i still have and use the stainless brushes for engine turning from my gunshop. engine turning is a very popular embellishment on rifle bolts, very time consuming but spectacular results can be had.

I must agree with you on that, sometime brass just is a bit harsh when you look at the silver in the blade and backsprings. Especially with ebony stainless steel liners makes for a nice flow and gives the knife warmth.

Brass has it's place - that's for sure but some knives just beg to have stainless liners.
