Drop in Replacement handle for Buck alpha and alpha Dorado

Plan to get a bunch of these made up and stuck in my store and on ebay. These were the "secondary prototype" sets that gave me the idea to do such since no one else does. The set on the knife are smooth amber bone the other set is black linen micarta. These are built to be straight drop in (no modifications or fitting neccesery)replacements for the factory rubber or pakkawood grips. AND they are FUN to make!

I came close to purchasing a Folding Alpha a couple of months back in a store, but the price was not right… :(

The bone was good, I like that, but the tortise did me in. Fantastic looking stuff. is it Acrylic?

thanks Adam, it's a recon, listed in masecrafts recon stone section. It's got more resin than stone though so it is flexible and more foregiving, i'd never think of trying this with turquoise or malachite becuase it would probably buist right in two once it was snugged down.
