Case Tested XX 4 Blade Congress?

This one really bothers me with several issues. The jigging looks unlike I've seen on a legit Case Congress and the blades don't seem to have the correct shape to them. eBay item number is 360068864686. Am I incorrect in what I'm looking at, or is it legitimate.

100% counterfeit Jim. Nothing right about it IMO. I've noticed the jig pattern seems to be fairly common on counterfeited "Tested Era" knives ::disgust::

That alone (to me) makes it an "Accross the room Counterfeit" as KA says ::tu::

Lots of other stuff wrong too though.

I had a sneaky suspicion it wasn't right. That jigging pattern seems to be common in most of them conterfeits and it really jumps out at you. The shapes of those blades look phoney as well.

This knife was not born in Bradford IMO.

here is the listing:

I'm not a Case collector but it is Odd - to say the least and I'm just going by the blade configuration.

Just like the knife shows on telivision, you cannot get a good look at the tang stamp. I downloaded the picture and when magnified the "Case" and it seems to have a very strange S. It also looks like there is something below the Case stamp. I guess it is supposed to be an 88. He lists the knife as 4-1/4 but a 6488 should be 4-1/8. Also my reference only lists Tested 88s in Stag, Second Cut Stag, and Green Bone. All of the pictures I can find show the left front blade as a coping blade on an 88. Can there be other configurations than Sheepfoot, pen, coping and spear?

I pity the poor buyer when he shows it to a knifer friend who knows what to look for in an 88. ::dang::
