An incurable Barlow collector, I lose a certain portion of common sense when it comes to rare ones

! Paid way too much (maybe)!
First one of these I've ever seen.(I hope they are not common as dirt

) Quite worn down, but all the key markings are there. Looks are only 50 cents apiece! My address is Santa, North Pole, HOH-OHO. . . .enjoy

Very nice old Barlow that looks like it has served faithfully for many years.
Mint is nice, but I have a soft spot for knives that have been used for the purpose they were made for... And Barlows really were made to be used!
Do you know how old it is?

Froggy, from Goins, and Levine, the knife has to be from before about 1926 when Miller Bros. ceased cutlery operations. The all steel parts could make it wartime (WWI of course). There is some chance it could be before 1900, as Miller Bros moved to Meriden, CT. ca. 1872!!
edited to correct a date.
