I like the knife as it is. Shows honest use. Fixing it would ruin the knife as a collectible. Why not let someone who appreciates it for what it is buy it?

a good soaking in lemon oil and a light going over with 0000 steel wool would liven those handles back up and not diminish value.

Is the lemon Oil used for Guitars the right stuff? Is there a certain brand? I saw I believe it was Dunlop.
When you search for Lemon Oil you get alot of Health and beauty products.
