All About Pocket Knives

I finished this up today, I had it sitting disassembled for the last few months while I worked on my other projects. It was kinda nice to get back to customizing something, there's so much less to worry about

It's a tiny one, a Schrade 108OT. This one, I have a feeling, will be getting LOTS of pocket time. The very first knife I ever owned, which was my grandfathers for many a year, was a 108OT. I still have it, in my display case, next to all my other "heirloom" knives (the ones I feel guilty about using, like I'll "use them up" or something). Some of my first knife memories involve that knife. Carving soap in the cub scouts, watching my granddad sharpen branches for roasting hotdogs on a bonfire, etc. Now I've got one I can use without feeling guilty.

Pin-less Sycamore lace with black fibre spacers. Center liner filework, something different for me. Tiny knives suck to photograph, and this lace was not a cooperative wood to get pictures of. Almost as bad as Koa.

The next time your taking pics, try the Macro setting on your camera, it's the button that looks like the flower, I think it will help you out

Really, I need to break down and update my camera. The macro mode on it is pretty good at about 1.5 to 2ft, but any closer and the complete lack of any kind of image stabilization makes it tricky, at best.

Go buy am el cheapo tri-pod and set the camera for a 2 second shutter delay, that way you get everything set then push the button and take your hands off the camera so there is no movment

Very Nice, I like the sycamore a lot, just fileworking the center liner is real effective on a small knife. Brass liners look better here also.
