i just wonder if someone got the good deal on this or what..
seems like the handles kept telling me no dont bid..
but i just would like your alls opinion on it.

Appears to be a very bad photo to begin with. It say's it's a 6488, but I don't reconize any bone scales from the 70's that look like those?

need real pictures. when you get it take close-ups of everything and post. if, real, it was a bargain.

The pictures are horrible but, it does look like a used Case 6488 that has been rehandled with ugly stag. Not worth a lot like that.

looks kinda like second cut, did they make an 88 in 2nd cut stag in the 70's?

That does not look like a 70's knife to me, makes me wonder if the seller isn't confused on Case's dating system. For instance, a lightning S Case with 6 dots, etc.

The picture is too bad to read the tang, although it does look to be from the right time period.

The only stag 5488 that was made in the 70's is the ten dot from 1970.

The only 488 pattern made in the 80's was the CCC knife in 1984 and the tooling had changed a lot, they look totally different.
