Old German?? Knife

Say I am a new member and could use your help. I am looking at a "Jumbo Trapper" The tang if the main blade is stamped with a picture of a whale and Solinger, the reverse is stamped Made in Germany. The knife has a clip and spear of pen blade with a leather punch on the bottom (kind of a modified lobster style). Following is the Ebay address. I am a Case Collector Fund Member and a NKCA member. I have seen this knife in a book but naturally cannot find it now. Being new it makes me nervous but I like it.

Yes Soligen. Sorry. I have done some more looking and keep coming up with Rostrei and Inox. They do not seem to be very collectable.

those terms (inox, rostfrie) are german meaning stainless. richartz is the maker, the whale being their stamp.

I bought this, seemed cheap enough and I like German steel. Looks good to me I will let you know when I get it.

Please do. I don't know enough to bid much on something like that, but it did look interesting. When you receive it let me know if it was worth more than the bid and if you will, any history you come up with.
