Customized BUCK 536 by Upscale Knives

I traded for this rascal at the Little Valley Knife Show.
Wish I knew what the handles were made of.

Good looking knife, I don’t know but it looks like a burl wood and kirinite mix.

I would agree on that, burl wood and colored acrylic.

I've got a couple bucks with that handle only different colors, blue and green I think they call it shockwood. Usually a burl woos with dye and polymerized. Good stuff.

The burl wood and swirly acrylic mix was used for counter tops before its found it way into cutlery. I first noticed it a couple years ago when SMKW used a blue version in their Pandora Swirl Rough Ryder (RR) Line. It's been incorporated in expensive brands including Bench Made. The amount of the handle that is burl can vary a lot, at least in RR.
