If anyone has a subscription to Knife Magazine, I wanted to mention that there is an article in the recent July 2026 issue that I was part of. Historian, David Anthony, did an interview with me to go over the process of how DFKB knives go from initial design, through prototyping, and into production to the final release. It included some of my knife photography, and CAD mockups. I know David is a member here, and wanted to thank him for the time and effort he put into writing the article.

Thank you for all your help with that article. It's people like you that makes collecting knives such a great hobby. I encourage all of AAPK to check out the great knives that the Daniels Family Knives have made in the past and those awesome new patterns coming out

For years I have been thinking about buying a subscription but I never pulled the trigger until today.

I wonder if my first issue will be the one with this article. I hope so but if not, it will be my own fault.

I have been a subscriber for longer than I can remember, for years it was Knife World, then changed to Knife Magazine several years ago. At that time it went from a newsprint format to the current slick paper magazine format. What did not change is their practice of excellent content, containing articles and news that includes traditional pocket knives as well as other cutlery. Several authors including David Anthony are members here. ::tu:: Always look forward to receiving another issue and recommend it highly!
