Is it Shapleigh? or ShApleigh?

ok, part of the reason for this post is to show off my one and only Shapleigh diamond edge knife..
But i also have a (maybe dumb) question... Is it pronounced with a long "A" sound, like "SHAPE-lee"?, or a short "A" sound? i've always used the short A pronunciation, but i've seen more than one Youtuber say it the other way. i was hoping someone here had a definitive answer.. thanks!

I think you say tomato and I say tomato, but this is from Google.

It is spelled with a lowercase "h" and a lowercase "l," and is pronounced as "SHAP-lee."
