Found this today. Never owned a henckles before.
Could anybody tell me what the age would be and possibly and ballpark idea of it's value? Thanks

Determining a date of manufacture for Henckels knives is not easy. The book J.A. Henckels Knives by Neal Punchard says the J.A. HENCKELS over GERMANY stamp on the knife was used from around 1900 until 1975, so that doesn’t help. He says that to a trained eye an estimated date can be determined from subtle differences in the image of the “twins” mark.

There are a few collectors of German-made knives here on AAPK so they may recognize the pattern and have more info. Neal Punchard is also a member here. You may have to wait until they see this.
