Anybody buy a AG Russel Sowbelly Trapper

I want one of these. REAL BAD.
Anyone have one? And if so, what are your thoughts on it?

AB-92, that is a good-looking knife! Are they made in Tawain? I'm not sure where AGR is having things produced these days...

I agree! It's beautiful. I imagine it's made somewhere overseas. I honestly don't know where it's made though.

I did a little reading, they are made in China.
However, guaranteed quality. They opened and closed one knife 300,000 time to make sure the springs won't fail.

Well, they are very nice looking,
... I have some older AGR knives and they were made in Japan and Germany. Then production shifted to Tawain ... Now...
... I guess Tawain became cost prohibitive for production as well ....

I had one. Big knife. Heavy knife. No half stops if I remember correctly. Made in China. Pulls were relatively light. Not bear traps like many of the newer knives these days.
They’ve been around for a while. It was at least 10 years ago when I bought mine. Probably longer. It’s a good knife if you like big knives and don’t mind the weight. Very good build quality.

Those are very good looking knives. I plan to stop by their store in Arkansas next month just to shoot the crap with them a little bit. Might pick up one then.

I bought the single Wharncliffe blade version in 2015 and everything Rick said is spot on.
