I have long been off this forum and wished I never left! I have a (well 3 actually) queen cutlery knives that all have broken backsprings on the main blade. The one I’m wishing to repair is a later date small jackknife. I’m not close to it right now or I would give the model. I also have virtually the exact same knife from the 70’s with a perfect back spring. I was wondering if anyone could repair the newer model knife or if they could Frankenstein the two in order to repair the newer model knife? Main question I guess is who here is a very good and competent repairman. I don’t really have the time or the specific tools needed to do the job myself. Thank you all in advance!

Welcome back. I would recommend Muskrat Man Kaleb Reynolds. He’s worked on a few of mine and all I can say is wow. He does amazing work. There are others as well but he’s the only one I’ve dealt with. He is a member on Aapk or you can get ahold of him on his website. I believe it’s Muskrat Man Knives but don’t quote me. Good luck

Very nice work! Schrades are kinda tough with the pins the way they are. Let me make up my mind if I want all three repaired or what.
