Does anyone know why, as we approach May,there seems to be a shortage of new patterns from Case?

It’s a new pattern and as like anything new people want to have the first. Case made a similar pattern before with Bill Ruple but with premium blade steel. You will see them for sale soon… At crazy inflated prices. I read somewhere that Case employees were upset with the addition of the ax handle and cheetah cub because they were already quite swamped. Hope this makes sense.

The Ruple collaboration was a different knife. Premium steel, yes, but it was also a bigger knife and a lockback. The new Axe Handle release is a hot item. Case is shipping them as fast as they can but demand currently outstrips supply. Try some of the dealers with “brick and mortar” stores. If you buy from an online seller there’s probably a wait list.

Probably a bunch of lazy, clock -watchers working at Case.
The don't seem to care about excellence in cutlery anymore.

Somebody is finding Case Axe Handles somewhere. The Ax Handle thread on the Case Collectors Club forum with pictures and comments on them is 17 pages long, with more being added daily. ::shrug::

I should just say that I was merely talking about stuff I read. As I am not a Case collector. I know they are available. Sorry if I offended anyone…
