Pre 80 Hen & Rooster Question

Back in the 80's when I was collecting pocket knives, it was either 82 or 83 when I was at the gun show at Pomona Fair Grounds in LA County when I happened upon a pile of old pocket knives on a guys table. I didn't know much at the time but I did know a well made knife when I saw one. I picked up a couple of Primbles and then saw, and bought, what turned out to be a Hen & Rooster CM7 that looks as though it has never been carried or sharpened. The thing that puzzles me on this one though is that it has Micarta scales and no bullet shield. I can't seem to find and info on this configuration. Any help would be appreciated. Oh yeah, and I'm new to the forum...thanks for having me!

Looks like I answered my own question after some digging. My mistake was thinking that this was a CM7, but turns out it is a model 107 made under AG Russell while he owned Hen & Rooster from 1975-July of 1980. It looks to be more rare than the CM7's, but not sure how many were made during that time frame.

Ouch is right. But talk about a knife with history.
