Museum knife.

Belongs to a museum in Sweden. Unfortunately I only got access to one picture. Does anyone know more about the knife,
when it was made (1930/40s?) and by which knife maker?

Great knife.
With the points on the S guards I would date this knife from about 1900-1907. Probably made by a member of the Cooperative Societa of Maniago or by a friendly competitor Giovanni Bet.
There is also a slight chance it was made from 1929-1931 by a newly formed group in Maniago that used throwback ideas of construction.

Here is a similar one that is probably a few years older than that one.
These are better quality than any Italian made switchblade ever made. Antique or modern. I have several dozen of these I have found over the past 25 years
