A gentleman knife collector named Pat Reindel and myself made the knife for the 2014 Oregon knife show as a display piece to complement our Bowie display. Knives of Note YouTube video of that display online. Then the knife hung in a Boise woodworking store for 10 years. I have lighted the blade and turned it into a mobile advertising display piece. (Boisemobilesharpening.com) If you like getting into knife conversations with just about everyone, it's been a really great experience. I can unbolt the knife, display rack and signage to pack it inside the van in a few minutes. (but I just tell people I put it up there to keep people from pulling in front of me -) 😎🗡️⚔️🔪

Since we had an 8 ft table, we built the Bowie 7 ft. 8 in. To fit the table. We were adamant that it was a true knife. Solid blade, thick rat tail tang, slab hardwood handles and welded guard. Not a hollow sign. Originally 83 pounds, now lightened to around 40 pounds.

Hanging on your barn, it should have a razor sharp edge on it to deter criminal theft. lol

That picture is taken from an angle not showing the white 2016 Chrysler van that it sits on when I am on a sharpening call. Check out either cutlerycolletors.com or. boisemobilesharpening.com.
Pictures there.
