Is the bottom bolster flat like a pill crusher?

Thanks. The bottom bolster is flat. I’ve known the style as a doctor’s knife, but haven’t seen a Shumate one. Someone said that Shumate may have only made knives for 6 years. Not sure.

Welcome.
I just sold that exact knife recently to a member. It was marked "Stainless Cutlery" ( by Camillus.) on the shield and tang.
