Does anybody know what publication of the TRAPS magazine, published by the North American trap collectors association, had information about the Hawbaker Special Muskrat Knife designed by Stanley Hawbaker? This article was written by Ralph h Scruton jr. Also any information on these knives would be appreciated. I just bought number 500/500 of the queen limited 500 changing of the guard 2000 Hawbaker special muskrat knife. As well as number 500/1000 of Hawbaker’s 50th anniversary limited 1000 muskrat knife. Let me know what you all know, thanks.

Heres a link to an old AAPK post that has a copy of the article you are seeking. https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kn ... 40#p588040 Click on the article to enlarge so its legible. This was published in Sargent’s American Premium Guide to Knives.

There are a number of other posts here about Hawbaker’s Special knives by various makers, and “Improved Muskrat” knives also (basically the same knife but without Hawbaker’s name on them). The keyword search here (under Quicklinks on the upper left of this thread) will find the posts.

Welcome to AAPK.
