Fly Knife

I’m always on the lookout for old paper showing knives and ones showing autos are few and far between. Very happy to have found this one

R C Kruschke’s patented Fly knife. Funny thing is the date is Oct 6, same as my birthday of course years earlier though!

I have one in rough shape. I think these were a contract knife made by Voss Cutlery.

Voss was a contractor/importer in the US, I believe.
A likely maker for this pattern was F. Herder. Others may have made them too. I do know Herder was a manufacturer who made this pattern.
