All About Pocket Knives

This is a WWII knife not talked about much. Everyone has heard of the KABAR or the Remington PAL, Quarter master knife or Maybe the Western Shark. But some servicemen carried the not much talked about E.G. Waterman. Pictured is a pretty nice example of one I found. What can you WWII knife experts tell us about this knife?

The second picture is the tang stamp. Says EGW knife. This WWII knife might of been the cheapest one that was made.
