Help. Any information on what I have? Real? Fake?

Hello everyone I’m new here and have little to no knowledge on pocket knives. My grandfather passed years ago and left me a bunch of pocket knives. I stashed them away and pretty much forgot about them but came across one tonight and could use some help identifying what I’ve got.

Looks like authentic stag 1980 Case trapper pattern, but there's experts around that can confirm.

It is a real second cut stag Case Trapper. Add up the number of dots on both sides of the double lightening S, subtract that number from 1990, then the answer is the year it was made. Second cut stag is a slice taken off the antler after the more desirable surface is harvested. Second cut stag is usually jigged to make it look a little like the first cut. More recent jigging patterns were more effective at imitating the surface bark. SSP below the pattern number means stainless steel blades and springs and polished cutting edges. It should have left the factory sharper than standard production. Nice knife.
