All About Pocket Knives

I had an issue with Live Auctions .I won a 13" stiletto and the au lion house hosting was charging $30 shipping but Live auctions was trying to tack on another $90. Thats over $120 shipping for a knife i won for $110. Live auction has no phone number so I ignored them and contacted the auction house directly Live auction was hosting.They said I wasn't the only complaint and they took my payment and left Live auctions extra shipping out( Live auction doesn't actually ship anything,the auction houses they host for do).So yesterday I entered another auction hosted by Live Auctioneers and now auction houses are being FORCED to add Live auctioneers shipping , and they don't actually ship anything,the auction house they host must make arrangements for shipping ,usually a pack and ship.Si I contacted Live auction to clarify if the $90 charge is a 1 time thing no matter if I buy several knives or is it Per knife! I havent heard anything back. Maybe if everyone here puts up a stink they will realize its not worth it.I suggest everyone buying in auctions clarify this or your auction purchase( or purchases) will be a lot higher than thought.

I got through to the Auction House Dan Morphy direct. To avoid Live Auctioneers ridiculous shipping fees do now watch the auction and bid through live auctioneers,go sign up at the actual auction house and bid through their page instead of Live Auctioneers and you won't have extra fees.Not only will you save shipping ,but dan Murphy charges a lower percentage than Live Auctioneers.
