Rebuilt Vintage Swing guard

I love these swing guards ,I however got a decent deal on a vintage knife badly banana bladed as well as a shortened blade.Pivoting lock on the back was the worst attempt at a repair I seen ,so I pulled blade pivot pin and backspring pivot pins and replaced the blade and backspring with the modern 4mm Beltrame.I did thin the profile of the blade so It had more of a slender stiletto look as well as a polished hair popping full grind .Instead of the raised peak in the center of the dagger its a flattened polished islandInstalling the new blade/ backspring allowed me to make a nice straight blade that snaps open authoritative with a swivel guard that locks up tight against bolsters when it locks open .Usually I have to make all my own components to rebuild a modern knife to my specs,this time I brought a Vintage knife to Modern spec and its been my EDC since. Blade tip sets deep in liner

Looking awesome! ::nod::👍

You should have made it a Batwing guard, that would have really thrown people for a loop. 🤣
