Good eye! Yes to are correct. The pins are original and spun. Punches with small cupped ends could have been used. I’ve seen people say these pins are wrong but they must have little experience to know the difference.

I have recently seen a few German shell pullers with what appear to be "spun" pins for sale.

Not original I assume?

I need to correct erroneous information in this post.
While the pins on this knife MIGHT be original, the finish on them is not. The scale pins are obviously "spun."
Spinning pins to install was invented in America in the late 1940s, I believe by Remington-when they were making knives.
Cupped punches leave a completely different finish than is exhibited here.
The pivot pin has been peened with a small ball peen hammer, and badly done.
