All About Pocket Knives

Hello, new member and fairly new to collecting knives, Ive started with collecting Schrade Walden Uncle Henrys and have branched out from there. I am also Collecting Belknap Hardware, Bluegrass, John Primble, Blue Ribbon Cutlery, and Pine Knot knives. I was wandering if anyone has or has seen a John Primble Uncle Henry so I can identify one if I run across it. Thank yall!

Don't collect that era of Schrade and Schrade made knives,but be very careful of Pine Knots,90% are fake.

Thank you, i picked one up from a member on here friday, I am guessing this one is not fake, or im hoping it is not. If you look in the search bar for pine knot it will be the candy striped one that is in it. 2 blade i believe.

Others here may have more knowledge than I do, but I have never seen an Uncle Henry knife with John Primble or Belknap markings. Old Timers, yeas, Uncle Henry, no.

However, some special runs of Uncle Henry pocket knives were made on contract for Belknap. These were made in patterns that were slightly different than the UH patterns, with Schrade markings that were also different as compared to Uncle Henrys. I may have one or two of these, if so I may be able to post pics later. I also seem to recall that these were actually made by Camillus, not Schrade.

I thought I had seen it on a thread on here about John Primble Old Timers. I have been adding to my Belknap collection and was just gonna see if someone here may have had one so I knew what to look for when looking for one. I know Schrade made a 100th anniversary Keen Kutter knife on the 897UH platform in 1969. From what I have gathered, only roughly 6,000 were serial numbered. New numbers were ran separate from the 897UH.
